CLASS DESCRIPTION:  This NAR Code of Ethics course is for existing members. If you are a new member, you need to complete GRI 106, Ethics & Professional Practice.

REALTOR® members are required to complete two and a half (2.5) hours of ethics training, meeting specific learning objectives and criteria, within three (3) year cycles. Mandatory ethics training for REALTOR® members was first established by the NAR Board of Directors at the 1999 Annual Convention and it includes the following objectives:

• Heighten awareness of the key tenets of the Code of Ethics
• Appreciation for the role the Code can and should play in professional lives
• Enhances professionalism and competency
• Encourages REALTORS® to view their Code of Ethics as a living, viable guide in their daily dealings with clients, customers, and the public

The current cycle will end December 31, 2024. Future training cycles will be every three (3) years.

Being born and raised in Colorado, I began my real estate practice in Northern Colorado in 1991 and have never looked back. My experience within this industry has expanded my geographic range from Denver to the Wyoming Borders, working with multimillion dollar properties, rural acreages, investment condos, and single family homes.

I have a wonderful son, Brett, who is 27 years old and is just back from spending eight years in the Navy. He currently works in Fort Collins and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is the pride of my life, and he is the reason I am in this awesome business.

Practicing real estate has also lead me down pathways where I achieved Top Producer agent status,  managed for Coldwell Banker, and became very involved with the training and education of Realtors®. The quality education services I provide allow insights into the "nuts and bolts" of the real estate business. I teach all the required classwork for Realtors in Colorado through continuing education classwork. My 28 years in the Colorado marketplace provide depth of knowledge and a great passion for the people here. I bring both of these to my classes.
